How to Move Your 3rd Party Plug-ins To The New Photoshop (and have them actually work)

Hi Gang: Lots of folks hitting me on up on social asking about how to move their plug-ins from the old Photoshop CC to the new version (Photoshop CC 2015.5) so I thought I’d do a quick video for you on the process.

I went to Adobe directly to find out the best way to do this, because there are a couple of different ways (and I’m going to show you both), but there’s also a smarter new 3rd way that Adobe has created so you never have to go through this process again — the next time you update Photoshop, your plug-ins will move automatically (if you do this step). Anyway, I hope you find it helpful (I’ve embedded the short video below).

That’s a pretty lame thumbnail for that video, but believe it or not, it was the best of the three YouTube presented me. :)

Feel The Lightroom Mobile Love…
Hey, if your’e into the Lightroom Mobile App (and I hope you are, because it’s awesome), I posted a timesaving tip today on how to how to import your images directly into a particular collection (saving you a step), and I posted Wednesday’s episode of The Grid with my guest, Adobe’s Lightroom Mobile Product Manager Josh Haftel, who was awesome on the show, and shared lots of insights, answers, and was a terrific guest all the way around. Here’s the link to both.

OK, gotta run. Busy day today (but a good one!). Hope yours is, too! :)

Best,

-Scott

P.S. Today’s the cutoff for Photoshop World Guru Awards entries, and for the hotel room discounts at the Mandalay Bay resort. Just a heads up. :)
